Exhibition of paintings by Gérard Lusteau and Yann Péron.
Gérard Lusteau is more than half a century of lines, colors and a style marked by precise figuration and narration giving free rein to the imagination. Behind this apparent ease, there is an authentic sensitivity to drawing, a real long-term work that is not without reference to classical schools. Thus, the sense of detail is also felt in the concern to perfect the technique and the processes.
Yann Péron: From a very early age I loved to color, scribble, create with speed, rage and pleasure to leave my marks on all forms of paper, wood, cardboard, corrugated iron, etc. Coloring school notebooks, diaries and other course materials took me out of my solitary daily life to live dreamlike adventures. I shared my summer holidays in Pont-Aven between the pleasure of sinking into the mud, swimming in the icy water of this brackish river and observing the foliage of the Bois d'Amour where Paul Sérusier painted "Le Talisman".
Water and turpentine led me to figurative gestural expression, most often in watercolour with diluted shades.
